Tolkien Reading Day is on March 25th, 2025. This is an annual event promoted by the Tolkien Society. From the web site: “The date of the 25th of March was chosen as the date on which the Ring was destroyed, completing Frodo’s quest and vanquishing Sauron.”
Each year there is a theme, and this year the theme is “Fellowship and Community.”
I decided to read, A Conspiracy Unmasked. It is Chapter V from Book 1 of the Lord of the Rings.
I thought it would be fun to read a chapter a night (roughly) and make a post under “Tolkien Thought – Countdown to Crickhollow, I” with each post being a chapter review leading up to Chapter V.
We’ll see how well I do!
