The Nunamaker Group

Origins

The Nunamaker Group (TNG) was created as a business name for the various freelance, contract, and entrepreneurial activities that Ross Nunamaker has engaged in since 1993 when he began his communications career in traditional media roles as a freelance journalist and radio broadcaster. In 2004, he shifted to digital, when he began planning a pioneering community website to share local news and information. Eventually this type of site was called a place blog and the people running them, ‘Citizen Journalists’. This preceded social media as we know it today. As a matter of fact Facebook launched the same year to students only and was called TheFacebook. In 2010, following nine years in non-profit management, he was hired by Olympus’ Medical Systems Group to serve as their first Manager of Online Marketing Strategy and Analytics.

Today: Individual Coaching

The current focus of the Nunamaker Group is Resilient Seeker coaching. Beneficial to all individuals, the Life Compass Alignment Program is especially helpful for those encountering life events (marriage, career change, parental care, loss, and divorce).

Resilient Seeker coaching is one to one coaching with the goal of clarifying one’s goals and planning pathways to accomplish them using the Life Compass Alignment Program in order to live your life well.

Based on personal sovereignty, positive psychology, emotional, mental, and physical well-being, and leveraging project management best practice the program will assist you in recognizing who you are now, who you aspire to be and how to get there.

Today: Corporate

The Nunamaker Group offers a diverse knowledge base founded on twenty years of experience in communications, online marketing, analytics, and project management.

Throughout his career Ross has worked across industries and with organizations of vastly different size and scale to create custom solutions that respect varying restrictions of time, resources and budget. He has been an active change agent having implemented policy changes, technology changes, and as a full-time employee he has been hired or promoted into newly created positions three times.

Addressing change as an opportunity rather than a threat is easier said than done, but it must be done. There are proven approaches to incorporate change in a positive manner and every project, by its nature, introduces change. If you can’t manage change, you shouldn’t be hired for the job.

TNG is here to deliver custom solutions founded on proven approaches implemented to solve for the specific problem the client is addressing and inclusive in this is a definition and means to measure success.

Guiding all the work of TNG and its people is a commitment to integrity, humility, being results oriented, engaging in continuous improvement, and adapting and embracing change.
