Walking: To Hackett’s Park

By

After practice today I headed out for a new walking trail. It takes you from the Palmer Walk/Bike Path to Easton’s Hackett’s Park.

I had thought it connected from the park to a further trail, but it wasn’t quite connected, so I eventually turned back.

To get some extra steps I left the path to swing by Bushkill Park. This is an admission free park primarily geared to young kids. You can buy tickets for the handul of rides, there is a Fun House, and roller skating rink.

It is a throwback.

I’d have shared some picks, but the Park isn’t open to the public as of yet, but it was accessible because the Rink does have private parties, so maintenance kind of nicely told me I couldn’t walk there. Oh well.

There were no maintenance workers on the trail so I took this pic and it got me thinking about ‘How?’ Such as how do I want to get there? How fast or slow can I travel on each? Where does each go? Like any choice you work with the info you have. Since I had no gear suited for the water, I stuck to the trail.
