Origins
There was no business model or plan when I ‘started’ The Nunamaker Group (TNG) in 1993. I had a few different freelance activities and wanted an umbrella name.
I chose ‘Group’, because there were times that I submitted for contracts that required me to partner with other individuals, particularly in the area of design, which is not my strong suit.
My paid freelance communications in print, radio, and television came under this umbrella, as did my community website and related activities.
Two major contracts for me were developing online marketing strategies for an auto dealership and a pharmaceutical sample management company. Two very different industries, one B2B the other B2C, both utilizing my online marketing skills and corporate strategy knowledge.
Today
I continue to have a range of interests. I’m always open to entertaining projects for contract hiring.
I’m working on developing a self-guided program to apply the Life Compass Alignment Framework to one’s life. This is the application of the approach I outlined in the Treatise to Living a Life Well Lived.
This is especially helpful for those encountering life events (marriage, career change, parental care, loss, and divorce), but valuable to all individuals seeking to live with purpose and find contentment.
The goal is to clarify one’s life and planning pathways to live better using the Life Compass Alignment Program.
Based on personal sovereignty, positive psychology, emotional, mental, and physical well-being, and leveraging project management best practice the program will assist in recognizing who you are now, who you aspire to be and how to get there.
